Winter 2008

Greetings everyone! We hope to find you healthy and happy as we enter into the second month of 2008. I can't believe it's February already! It feels like Christmas was just yesterday. But since the holidays are over I'm glad that winter seems to be speeding by. BRING ON THE WARM SUNSHINE!!!! There are quite a few pictures below since I haven't updated in over a month. Enjoy!
Before Christmas we tried out a "big boy bed" for Dominic but he just didn't seem ready and so we converted it back to a crib. Thank Goodness!
Dominic got 2 different sets of bath colours for Christmas. He loves them! I think it's the only reason he wants to have a bath now. He doesn't touch any of his other bath toys. But he's almost used them all up...which I am secretly happy about.
Grandma Gail got Dominic his first sled for Christmas and she wanted to take him out for a ride while she was here. He kept saying "Run Gammer, run!"
The Wiggles have influenced Dominic to want to play musical instruments, which I think is great. When I started seeing him "air guitar-ing" everything, I thought it was time to get him one to play. He has it with him all the time!
This is the cute new outfit he got from Aunty Vicky for Christmas. The pants are still quite big, but he looked adorable nonetheless. (And I did find a shirt for the pants Vic, as you can see.)
Dominic is in a toddler dance class on Thursday morning with his cousins Madisyn and Hayden. The next couple of pictures are a little blurry, but he's always moving. They usually start out the class with some fun balloon games.
This is Miss. Michelle and the rest of the class. I am starting to think that the parents get more out of this class than the kids do!
Another thing Dommy is really into lately is his tricycle. Here Daddy is trying to help him with the technicalities of riding a bike, but he's too interested in The Wiggles.
Earlier this week I told Dominic that we were going to dance class in the morning and I guess he was a little excited because he immediately went and started putting on all his warm clothes...hat, scarf, boots and mits. But he seems to have forgotten the coat!
Shaving already?!?!? I didn't think this would happen for a few more years. lol
Hope to talk to you all soon. Stay warm and think sunny thoughts. Maybe we will get an eary spring, as the groundhog says.
