Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone! Happy Holidays. We hope you all had a great Christmas and will have a fabulous New Year. We had a very good holiday with all of our family. Grandma Gail (Gammer), Uncle Andy, Papa Steve, Auntie Pookie and Auntie Michelle all came to visit from various places. We had a big Christmas breakfast at home with Gammer, Andy, Marc. Then we all went out to Granna and Pa's for the afternoon and for a big turkey dinner. All the pictures from there came out blurry so I don't really have any posted, sorry.

This was the tree first thing on Christmas morning. The gifts spread out across most of the livingroom! And of course most of them were for Dominic.
Gammer and Uncle Andy opening their stockings. Santa brought so much stuff for Gammer that he needed 2 stockings!!!!
Dominic digging into his stocking. He got distracted with each thing he took out.
Marc opening his stocking.
Santa brought Dominic a Bob The Builder cell phone and he loves it! This is where Dominic and Bob were having a very important conversation. lol
Dominic's big gift from Santa was a Home Depot tool bench complete with power tools.
Del got a Joe Rocket motorcycle jacket from his loving wife. What a lucky guy!
Gammer bought Dominic his first sleigh. Here he is testing it out in the livingroom.
This is me opening my custom made, Ashley Rose, pink golf clubs! I was so excited!!!! What a lucky girl. Here we are at the farm, Dominic opening his gifts from Uncle Nev, Aunt Cat and Maddi.
And for once, a picture of Del and I together. This never happens.

Happy 2nd Birthday Dominic!

Hi All! Our little man turned two this week. What a crazy time it has been. Aunty Vicky flew in on Thursday for the special day and unfortunately we all got food poisoning from our lunch out. Luckily Dominic was feeling better for his birthday...Mommy wasn't. :-(
We had a fabulous birthday party this afternoon for Dominic at Granna and Pa's restaurant. It was such a perfect place to have it. All the kids got to run around and play with the toys. A HUGE thank you to all of you who came out for the festivities today and contributed to Dominic's special day. Also thank you to all who wanted to be there but couldn't. We love you all!

This is Dominic enjoying a little out door time this week, eating his cookie in the snow.
This was how happy Dominic was with the gift Grandma G sent. It was a gorgeous hand made sweater and some new pants.
Yesterday we received Great Grammie and Great Papa Dale's gift in the mail, which was another adorable sweater.
This morning we got all ready for the big party, Dommy in his new sweater. As you can see he thinks it's #1!
This is the gift Mommy and Daddy got him...what were we thinking? At least it kept all the kids extremely happy at the birthday party.
Dominic visiting with his party guests.
Daddy helped Dominic read his cards and open his gifts. But he didn't really need very much help this year.
Thoughtful Aunty Vicky got Dominic a set of drums!!!! Yes, seriously! After the party Daddy set them up and Dommy banged away happily.
Some more treasured Wiggles videos from Mom and Dad.
Dominic was very thorough with the unwrapping. He wanted to get every little piece.
Granna and Pa got Dominic a boy Cabbage Patch baby for his birthday. Mommy is so happy about this, it was exactly what she wanted for him.
Aunty Vicky and Mommy worked very hard on these special car cakes for Dominic. They were a huge hit at the party. Two cars for my little man's big 2nd Birthday!
Pa, Daddy and Dommy managed to get the candles blown out after a wonderful round of "Happy Birthday".
Here is Aunty Vicky really "getting into her work" as we were cleaning up from the party. lol
Thank you again to everyone for coming and for the wonderful array of gifts. We all had a great time. See you again next year!

Fall Fun

Greetings Everyone! November is almost over which means little Dominic is going to be 2 in just over a week. I can't believe it!!! Aunty Vicky is coming out for his big day and for his party. We can't wait to see her.
Christmas is also just around the corner and we're getting very excited for that. Grandma G and Uncle Andy are coming for the holidays and we can hardly stand the wait. This should be a wonderful Christmas!

Here are some new pictures of Dominic.

This is him asking for "cheese", which means he wants his picture taken. lol
Enjoying his waffles this morning.
I really thought we'd be past the "put everything in your mouth" stage by now but we're not. This is Dominic's most favorite thing; The Wiggles!
Mmmmm....spatula!
I have no explanation for this one. I came into his room the other night and he had 2 trick-or-treat bags around himself, a hat that is too small, a baseball glove and 1 shoe!
Fun with the new bubbles in the bath. He loves bath time!
This is another one of Dominic's new favorites; juice boxes.
More bubbles!

Hallowe'en 2007

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Hallowe'en again this year. We sure did! We hit up Market Mall like last year and did some trick or treating there with cousin Maddi and Aunt Cat. After that we made our way to Granna and Pa's restaurant and had a bite to eat from the Ghost and Gobblin Buffet. Following that we went out and did a bit of door to door with cousins Hayden and Madisyn. Take a look at our adorable little skunk in his hand made costume from Grandma Gail.

A Few New Pictures

Here are a few new pictures of Dominic from the past couple of months.

This is Dominic on the Digger that Daddy bought for him.
This is a little quiet time before bed one night. The rocking chair he is sitting in belonged to my older cousin Kelly, and she passed it down to me when I was still very young. Now Dominic is using it!
Here he is wearing Daddy's FSU hat. He does this all by himself...it is not Mommy-inflicted!
This is Dommy and Tido while we were Ferret sitting one weekend.
Don't even ask! I think he was just being silly.
Dominic and his beloved Baby.
Handsome devil! Right after a hair cut.
Sporting some more of Uncle Andy's FSU gear.

Swimming Lessons!

This morning was Dominic's first swimming class. He goes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:00. Daddy is his partner on Tuesday and Mommy will be his partner on Thursday. He was a little nervous today and was clinging to Daddy a lot but he warmed up more by the end of the class and I am sure he will be fine next time.
Uncle Neven and Maddi are also in the class so the cousins got to swim together.
The teacher sang lots of songs with fun actions. This was Humpty Dumpty Sat on the Wall.
(Pictures are a little blurry because there was a lot of movement going on)
