He's on his way!

Hello Everyone! This week Dominic has made some huge progress towards crawling. He can now coordinate his arms and legs and manage to get up on all fours. Once he's up there he rocks back and forth (it's the cutest thing!)
He has figured out how to get into reverse but he's still working on moving forward. I really don't think it'll be long now until he is actually crawling. I guess this means it's time to start baby-proofing! Yikes.

Dominic and his Cousins

Dominic has two cousins so far; Madisyn is older and Hayden is younger.
Madisyn was born April 10, 2005 and Hayden was born April 13, 2006. Dominic really seems to like little Hayden; he's always reaching out to touch him (see them sleeping together in the Moses basket). Unfortunately Madisyn lives in BC so we don't get to see her very much. We all had our babies within about a year of each other and we can't wait to see them running around playing with one another. Here are some cute pictures of the cousins.

Dominic's God-Mother

This is Vicky; Dominic's God-Mother. She's a very special lady and we couldn't think of anyone better suited for this honor. While she was here visiting in March we asked her to be this very special person in our son's life and she graciously accepted. We know that Dominic will grow up to be a better person for having her in his life.
We love you Auntie Vicky! XXX OOO

Our New Blog

Hello Everyone!

We decided to create a blog so that all of our friends and family can keep up with Dominic's growth and see his pictures any time you want. Please make sure you interact with us; leave us messages and such.

To bring you up to date.....

Dominic is five and a half months old now and he is growing like a cute little weed. The last time I had him weighed and measured he was sixteen and a half pounds and 25 inches long. His eyes are still blue but his hair is turning blonder by the day.

Milestones:

On his four month birthday Dominic rolled from his back onto his tummy. Two days later he rolled from his tummy onto his back. Since then you can not keep this child still for anything! He rolls like crazy now; everytime you put him down he's on the move.
We also started feeding him solids quite some time ago and he is loving it! He's experienced the classic rice pablum and also some oatmeal cereal and all of the vegetables. I can't say that he appears to dislike anything yet. One of his favorites is a Farley biscuit which he tears through in no time; but that's probably because he wears most of it! LOL
He's not sitting up on his own yet but we're getting close. He can keep himself upright for a few seconds before falling over. He tries really hard! He's also getting quite close to crawling....already!!!! He can lift his cute little tushy way up in the air and pull his knees under himself; with the right traction underneath.

Well, I'll close for now but will update you all with more milestones and stories as they come. Have a great day!

Dominic and Friends

Here are some cute pictures of Dominic with his friends.

This is his play group. We all get together on Thursdays so that the babies can play together and the Mommies can eat together! LOL

Bath Time!

I think Dominic's favorite time of day is bath time with Daddy. Each night after dinner, Daddy-Del gives Bubba-Choo his bath. We don't use the small tub any more, we let him use the BIG one now. You should see this child kick! I think he'll be a lil swimmer in no time. We can't wait to get him to the pool this summer.
