Hello Everyone. Sorry for the long delay in another update, however we've been away in Nanaimo for 3 weeks. We're very sad to say that Dominic's Baba, Diane passed away on May 26 from Breast Cancer. We were out there to see her and be with the rest of the family during the services and days following. She was such a wonderful lady and we will miss her very much.
This is Baba with Hayden.

This is a picture of Diane with her daughter Michelle in Cuba.

This is Dominic before we left while he was going through a little bit of an obsession with his rubber boots.

In Nanaimo we stayed in the guest house at The House of Bread. The Sisters were kind enough to allow us to stay the whole 3 weeks. In the back they have 3 llamas and Dominic loved them. But he kept "neighing" at them! lol

The guest house didn't have a bath tub, only a shower. So Dommy got to take his baths in the kitchen sink. He didn't mind though.

One day we went to Protection Island with Great Aunt Sandra, Great Papa Dale, Great Grammie and Granna. This is all of them waiting for the ferry to come.

This is Dominic with his Great Grammie having lunch at The Dingy Dock restuarant. That's all that's out on Protection Island other than houses. It's right on the water and it was a really neat place to go.

Papa Steve and Baba Diane have a sheep farm. Dominic loved it so much! Every day when we drove into the driveway he would start bah-ing at them before they were even in sight. He would stand by the gate and feed them vegetables and "bah" at them for so long. One of his newest words is "animals" and he uses it a lot. I guess he's taking after Mommy with his love for the furry creatures.

The weather was so wonderful the first 2 weeks we were there. One sunny morning we went to Beban Park. Dominic had a blast!

On Aunty Pookie's birthday we all went out to a place called Cooms where they have Goats on the Roof. It's a building that really has live goats living on the roof. Instead of shingles it's covered in grass!!! Inside there is a market place full of tons of cool things. On our way there we stopped at Whiskey Creek and Dominic had his very first ice cream cone. It was really cute. However, he ended up losing his ice cream outside on the grass.

Great Uncle Mike (right in the picture) was leaving to go back home to Ontario so we went for lunch at Earls. This is Papa and Dommy sharing some cuddle time together.

On one of our last nights there we stopped at Jingle Pot for some more ice cream. The island sure does have the best! This time Dommy got his in a cup.

On our long drive back home we stopped in a place called Field and played at the park for a little bit. The last 2 pictures are of Dominic in the beautiful mountains.
