I think it's finally happening!!!

Good morning everyone! How are you? I am just so excited to tell you all that I think Dominic has finally decided that it's about time he sleeps through the night. He has slept through the last 2 nights and 1 other night last week. The in-between nights were good with only 1 wake-up around 3, which he quickly went back to sleep from. I can't believe that this time has finally come and I could so desperately use it. THANK YOU DOMMY!

Check out a few new pictures too.

The above picture is of Dominic enjoying his new favorite spot to relax. As you can see he climbs up behind the couch and sits in the window sill to look out at the street. This particular day he sat there for probably half an hour!

Life Is Good

Hello Everyone. Well, we have settled quite nicely into our new house now. We have a few finishing touches left to make this house a home but for the most part we are quite comfortable. It is so lovely out here in Cremona. The nights are quiet and you can see all the stars. I can honestly say I do not miss the light pollution or the continuous noise of the City. We can walk across our town safely and everyone waves or says hello to each other. I never realized what we as people were missing by living in Calgary where these pleasantries are almost non-exsistant.
Anyway, we are all doing very well. Dominic is almost 16 months old now. He is up to 31 inches long and about 24 pounds. He has 4 of his molars now and I discovered that his first I-tooth is cutting too. He is into everything now that he has the run of the house. His favorite thing to do is pull all of his clothes out of his drawers and throw them around his room. I do admit though that it's getting better. He doesn't seem to be doing it as often any more, which is nice for me. We have a fully enclosed deck on the back that he can not escape from and he loves to go out there and explore and play by himself. He thoroughly enjoys watching the dogs on the deck next door, calling out "HI!" all the time. I can't wait for the nicer weather to come so we can have the sliding door open most of the day and he can come and go as he pleases. It will sure keep him occupied for most of the day.
Here are some recent pictures, hope you enjoy them. Talk to you soon.

This picture was taken one night after we drove home from Trish and Dave's farm. Dominic had fallen asleep in the car on the way home. I laid him on his change table because he needed a clean diaper and some jammies before going to bed. I took off his pants and turned to get him some pj's from his dresser and when I turned back he had rolled over and gone right back to sleep. I just thought this was too cute not to snap. It's what I call the "Anne Geddes" pose.

This large Winne The Pooh actually belongs to Mommy, but I don't mind sharing with him.

This is Dominic eating his new favorite food...apple sauce cups. When he sees me take it out of the fridge he gets so excited.

Auntie Kristy made a beautiful stool for Dominic for Christmas and this is how he likes to use it! lol
