Our Trip to Creston

Greetings Everyone! Dominic and I are in Creston, BC to visit Auntie Tori and Norman. This is our first road trip together. We're having such a good time that we decided to extend our visit and stay longer. Our drive out was really great. Dominic didn't end up sleeping for more than an hour of it though which was surprising. We stopped in Radium and had a little break and Dominic picked out something for himself from the souvenir shop.
The boys have been having a lot of fun with each other. We've been to play group, and spent a lot of time playing outside in the beautiful weather. Spring is in full bloom here which is a nice change from the Alberta weather we were having.
Check back soon because I'm sure I will have lots more pictures to post by the end of our time here. Bye for now!

This is Dominic and Norman having some fun play time after their bath.
Taking a short sippy-cup break from the hard playing he was doing.
Maybe he will grow up to be a school bus driver!
Dominic thinks we need to get him a wagon too. He loved it!
Practicing his step-climbing...since Mommy never lets him do it at home.
It's probably not that far away when we will be watching our little guys go off on a real bus to school....awww.

Hello All. How's everyone doing these days?

Here's a few new pictures to keep you satisfied. Papa was here for a visit last week and we had a great time. As soon as we get those pictures from him I will make another post.

We only want the best for our child so lunch consists mainly of 20's, and some 10's. lol
This is Dominic's signature face. He's so funny!!! He knows it cracks people up.
A little naked Swiffering never hurt anyone! hehehe

Easter Weekend

Hello Everyone! We hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. Now that everyone is back to normal life I thought I would update Dominic's blog with some pictures. We didn't have a traditional Easter dinner this year; we hosted a brunch instead. Most of the family came, it was nice. We had such beautiful weather for it so we spent some time out side on the deck where the kids could play.

This is Marc and Dominic on Saturday when we were having coffee, reading the paper and enjoying some muffins.

Dommy capped that day off with a "Boys Night"; drinking beer and watching the Flames game! lol
The Easter Bunny came to visit Dominic and left him this lovely basket. He got some chocolate, that mommy has been helping him eat, and he got a colouring book and some crayons.
When he received his basket he was much more interested in the stuffing that goes in the bottom. He pulled it out and scattered it all over the house! Maybe the Easter Bunny can leave out the stuffing next year.

Dominic loved his crayons. He played with them for a long time. He ate a bit of them...broke one...dropped them. He really didn't do that much colouring. I'm still waiting for a picture.
Dominic checking things out after the brunch mess had been cleared away. He spent most of the day playing with the plastic utensils. I'm still finding them around the house.

This is Dominic and his cousin Hayden throwing all the magnets to the floor.

Looks like Uncle Stu has his hands full! How much do they weigh Uncle Stu???

As you can see we had a nice weekend. Dominic had a lot of fun playing with his cousins and the rest of us had a lot of fun eating and drinking....what else are holidays for once you're not a kid any more? Hope to hear from you all soon and we hope you had a great weekend too. Bye for now.

Spoke Too Soon.

Hello again everyone. It appears that I spoke too soon when I published the last post on here. Dominic was doing so well sleeping through the night; he went about a week. Then all of a sudden he flipped back to his old habits. So I don't know who's playing tricks on Mommy, but she doesn't care much for this! :(

Easter is upon us. I wish that Dominic was a bit older and could partake in the fun of an egg hunt or something like that. The Easter Bunny is coming to visit him of course, but I think it'll be more fun next year.

I have a couple of new pictures for you to see. I'm pretty sure that he is my son as we share the same love and addiction for shoes....
